What’s Been Going On the Past Four Years?

I left Puny Human soon after Galacide released for financial reasons within the studio, and got a short contract with Sanction Studios working on a simple tablet app for the US Marine Corps.

At the beginning of 2016, I was hired by NeuroCog Trials in Durham, NC, to work on their new game-like clinical assessment tool built in Unreal Engine 4: Virtual Reality Functional Capacity Assessment Tool (VRFCAT) (It’s not “virtual reality” in the Oculus Rift sense, they didn’t realize the connotation when choosing that name.) https://verasci.com/what-we-do/endpoints-assessments/vrfcat/

We released that on PC and later iOS (it works on Android as well but we weren’t targeting the platform.)

Once VRFCAT development ramped down and shifted mainly to maintenance and localization, the company shifted me to their tablet app, Pathway: https://verasci.com/pathway-ecoa/ (they changed their name to VeraSci in October 2018) which I worked on until I left the company in November 2019 to pursue a more game-focused direction.
