The Gates is a frantic 3D top down shooter in which you are an angel armed with a shotgun powered by magical orbs. Demons have stolen all the orbs so you travel to hell to defeat the demons and retrieve the orbs. There are 5 different types of orbs and you have 2-5 slots in your weapon in which you can combine the orbs in different ways to change your bullet effects.

This project was completed in 5 months by a team of 6 student programmers with art outsourced to a separate group of 5 student artists.
